Tensile Strength
INFRATEK GFRP Rebars are at least two times stronger than conventional steel rebars of the same diameter. This high tensile strength allows the rebar to withstand pulling or streaming forces, increasing structural strength and enabling heavy load handling.
Modulus of Elasticity
INFRATEK GFRP rebar has a modulus of elasticity of around 50 GPa, compared to 160 GPa for steel. This lower modulus allows concrete to flex more under load, helping distribute stresses more evenly and reduce the risk of cracking in slabs, roads, and highways.
